The 'COOL BLUE' Project is the downtown NYC 'songs for film'
project featuring singer & multi-instrumentalist James Wallace,
accompanied by Suzanne Vega's live touring band.
Jim is featured on vocals,
guitars, flutes, whistles & blues harp, recorded at the Looking Glass Studios (home
of Phillip Glass) & the Blue Room, Port Chester, NY.
Live performances/simulcasts
include the legendary Living Room, the Bitter End and midtown's Downtime.
Engineered & Mixed by Hector Castillo & Mario McNulty (David Bowie, Bjork, Lou Reed), with additional recording at the Blue Room, Pt. Chester, NY. Jim's song, "Beauty Inside" has helped to benefit the 'Look Good, Feel Better' Foundation (Cancer Society).
A PRO member of the NSAI & voting member of the Grammy's, Jim wrote & performed the
college/altern charting singles, "I Need Some Medicine" and "The
Beach Is Closed." His music has been featured in film, TV and videogame
soundtrack. Winner as Male/lead of the Fun Tapes vocal auditions, Jim has performed at Carnegie
Hall, Hard Rock Cafe & toured extensively in USA & Internationally.
